Coaching Awareness Week!

Have you been aware that it was International Coaching Awareness week this week??!!! It wouldn’t really surprise me if you didn’t but all is not lost! Coaches in Orange County are just a little bit quirky and instead of holding our awareness day this week we are holding it next Friday at the DoubleTree Hotel (Orange County Airport).

It is also just in time for Valentine’s day, relevant because one of our keynote speakers is John Gray, relationship and gender expert and author of 16 books, including the relationship classic Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus. Our second keynote speaker is Jim Cathcart, who will be presenting Intelligent Motivation for a Challenging World. He will show you how to use today’s strategies & technologies to create greater equity and outcomes from your existing contacts.

The speakers will be talking during a day packed with engaging workshops and seminars which will all talk to the benefits of coaching.

Red Barn is a silver sponsor of the event and we are taking information on ‘Your Essence Story’. Think of it as a foundation package, some folks come to coaching knowing very specifically what they want to work on, others come because they just have that feeling that something is missing and want to explore that more so the ‘YES’ is a series of 6 sessions that utilizes metaphor to explore values, purpose, goals and core essence for you or your company so you become equipped with some filters for your life or business growth.

If you are curious about Coaching day come join the fun! You can register at ICF Orange County.

And if you are interested in ‘Your Essence Story’ series or coaching in general, feel free to email us at

Have a marvelous weekend

Thanks so much for publishing this. Is it that coaching awareness week normally takes place in the first week of February each year?

February is a bad month for a coaching awareness week on our island of Trinidad because it is our Carnival month. People are focused on getting their costumes organized and “where is the next fete?”… so I will have to do my coaching awareness day after that during lent….
